The 7 essential employability skills
Employability skills are the skills, qualities and attitudes that employers say are essential for their workplace.
The skills are:
- Positive attitude
- Communication
- Teamwork
- Self-management
- Willingness to learn
- Thinking skills (problem solving and decision making)
- Resilience.
These skills can be developed in paid work, work experience and daily life.
