What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will: * Provide clinical leadership in a range of clinical settings across the continuum of care and the lifespan; * Generate, critique and utilise nursing knowledge, and contribute to the evidence based of practice through research, * Practise in joint clinical and academic roles that integrate practice based and theoretical knowledge, and * Provide culturally responsive care and support to people to manage their health and wellbeing. Graduates of the University of Waikato Nursing postgraduate programmes will provide leadership to the nursing workforce and health services, articulate models of care to address population health needs, produce research that extends the boundaries of nursing knowledge, inform health policy with knowledge derived from critically examined clinical experience and advocate for strategies that address inequities in health care regionally and nationally.
