About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates of the Certificate in Health and Wellbeing will have gained a foundational understanding of the key concepts of health, hauora and wellbeing; human biology; an introduction to data sets and statistics; and either te reo Maori or tikanga Maori. They will also have gained basic skills and knowledge in either chemistry and cellular and molecular biology (Biomedical option); or in social policy and social psychology (Poutu-manahau Population Health option).
