What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will be effective writers who understand genre, audience, and register, and the conventions of the various writing communities within which they are working. They will be able to engage thoughtfully and critically within their own and other people's writing, and have a knowledge of the verbal, grammatical and analytical skills that excellent academic and creative writing require. They will have the ability to think critically and communicate well, especially in text-based formats. They will have high-level skills as readers, writers and editors of their own and other people's work, and will be able to produce excellent writing in a range of forms and genres, They will be independent and self-directed, and will be able to carry a major writing project from inception to completion.
