Minimum requirements

Applicants should have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience or appropriate study experience. A demonstrated interest in the subject and a strong desire to be bilingual. Evidence of support from a hapü or iwi is to be provided. All applicants are required to undergo a police vet each year. Applicants must be aged 17 years of older. rospective students will also have an interview and write a 300 word paper outlining their interest in the toiora whānau area. If you are a returning student of more than 8 years ago an interview process with Ngā Pūkenga will take place prior to enrolment to determine training currency.
