What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates will be able to enter professions where the language of currency is te reo Maori, in library, media, teaching, and the arts, in the public arena of government and community. They will be able to study at post graduate level in kaupapa Maori.

Minimum requirements

School leavers must be over 17 years, have gained university entry and a minimum pass of B (or NCEA equivalent) in te reo Maori. Mature students must have fluency in te reo and have completed a tertiary qualification with a te reo Maori component.
