The programme prepares students to meet the NCNZ requirements for registration as a Registered Nurse (2016). Successful completion of the programme results in the award of the UCOL Bachelor of Nursing (BN) degree

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Applicants under the age of 20 years must have University Entrance OR Equivalent academic achievement OR On a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Executive Dean OR Provisional enrolment OR Successfully complete the UCOL Certificate in Science and Health, Level 3, or equivalent, as approved by the Head of School. Applicants 20 years of age or over will be required to meet the criteria for admission to UCOL to study at degree level, that is, NCEA level 3 or equivalent qualification and attend a conversation. IELTS score of at least 6.5 (Academic) in all bands, (or equivalent including TOEFL and Cambridge International examinations. Further entry requirement details are listed on the UCOL website.
