Entry requirements
Either 18 years or over and out of NZ school for 1 year, or 10 to 12 credits at NCEA level 3 in each of 2 approved subjects, plus 14 level 3 credits in no more than 2 other subjects plus literacy and numeracy requirements for entrance.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
Students who complete the Certificate in University Preparation will have developed the English language, communication and critical analysis skills necessary for successful study at first year bachelor's degree level. They will have developed independent learning strategies and a range of thinking skills to enhance learning and understanding. They will have acquired skills and an understanding of basic concepts in the subjects studied.
