What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates of the PGCertSCL will have specialised sector leadership knowledge and will be equipped with the appropriate skills required to apply that knowledge in their chosen specialist field of practice. These graduates will fill a demand for these knowledge, skills, and dispositions as identified by the community and social service, not-for-profit and social enterprise sectors in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas. They will be critical, reflective leaders able to pursue both personal professional goals and further postgraduate study.

A bachelors degree with at least 60 points in social science subjects from a New Zealand University or an equivalent qualification, or an approved relevant qualification and at least two years of relevant work experience.
