Entry requirements

To be admitted to this micro-credential, all applicants must meet the following requirements:
NZQA recognised degree
or
The ability to demonstrate competencies equivalent to a graduate from the above qualification based on the Special and Discretionary admission provisions
or
equivalent

Special and Discretionary admission:
Special and Discretionary admission options are also available as outlined in Section 2.9 of Te Kawa Maiorooro Educational Regulatory Framework
In assessing whether to grant special or discretionary admission, the primary focus will be on the applicant's ability to demonstrate a likelihood of succeeding in the micro-credential programme. All decisions will be made at the discretion of a Programme Committee or delegate.

Domestic English Language Requirements:
If English or Te Reo Māori is not the applicant's first language, candidates will need an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5, or equivalent.

About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

This micro-credential aims to equip ākonga with the appropriate skills and knowledge to leverage
existing creative technology tools to enhance and refine their storytelling voice and workflows.
Furthermore, ākonga will be able to apply creative technology knowledge to a real-world context by
utilising existing creative technology tools to assist in storytelling and the creation and management
of workflows within a process.
This micro-credential is designed for people who have an interest in incorporating creative
technology ideologies and methodologies in their own profession, or those who may have an
interest in the creative technology sector.
