About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of Te Waha Ohaoha (Level 6) micro-credential is to equip ākonga with intermediate knowledge and skills in reo Māori to formulate karanga, whaikōrero, karakia, pao and waerea. This is achieved by enabling ākonga to evaluate these tikanga practices through discussions and develop a comprehensive understanding of the significance, techniques, and contexts. Ākonga apply this knowledge across various settings cultivating te reo speakers who can lead these practices in primarily ōkawa contexts.
