About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this micro-credential is to equip licensed electricians with the specialised skills and knowledge necessary for the safe and compliant installation of residential Electric Vehicle Supplement Equipment (EVSE). As EV technology rapidly advances, the demand for residential EV charging stations has increased, exposing a significant gap in standardised training for electricians in this field. This micro-credential addresses critical safety concerns outlined by WorkSafe New Zealand and industry stakeholders.
