Entry requirements

This micro-credential is aimed at those already employed at sea or those wishing to seek employment in the maritime industry including passenger, non-passenger and fishing vessels. There are no restrictions for entry.

About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The aim of the micro-credential is to provide the maritime industry with graduates who will
have the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain the STCW basic certification in STCW
Personal Safety Social Responsibilities (PSSR), STCW Personal Survival Techniques
(PST), STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, and STCW Elementary First Aid.
