Entry requirements

School students apply and are selected as to their aptitude (good work ethics and willingness to learn) to becoming an apprentice in the future. This entry level micro credential will support and encourage school students to take up a marine apprenticeship. The student must be aged 16 years and in school in years 12-13 to be able to apply.

The aim of this micro-credential is to provide an introduction to the marine, marina, or composite industries and associated workplaces. The target learner group are school students considering a career in the marine, marina, or composite sectors.
