About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The overall aim of this micro-credential is to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge to prepare to and operate a light 4WD vehicle off-road.
This includes carrying out pre-start vehicle checks, driving a light 4WD through water and preparing a light 4WD for on-road driving.
This aim is achieved by supporting ākonga with both on-job and off-job learning, allowing learning to be applied in a practical way, across a range of situations, within the ākonga's role in the workplace.
