Entry requirements
Entry requirements are the candidate must be employed by an insulation installation  
business that meets BCITO's criteria for suitably to train and signed into a training  
agreement with the BCITO. 
A trainee installation installer will be working in the insulation industry and be able to  
practice their knowledge and skills. They will be supported in their enrolment by their  
employer.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The candidates for this micro-credential are people who work or are thinking of working in the Insulation Installation industry. 
The aim of this micro-credential is to fill a skills and knowledge gap with employees who 
can install insulation that meets legislative and industry standards. 
This micro-credential is completed on the job  
in the workplace. 
Aim 
 - To develop knowledge and skills relevant to those employed as an insulation 
installers or those who support the industry. 
 - To provide foundation level knowledge of the legislative acts that govern installing  
insulation to those working in the industry 
 - To produce professional practitioners who are well regarded by employers and  
client
