Pacific language does not include English and te reo Māori.
Pacific language may include the languages of Samoa, Tonga, Niue, Cook Islands, Fiji and Tokelau.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is intended for learners of a Pacific language as an additional language, who wish to increase their proficiency for general, workplace and/or academic communication. It would also benefit native speakers who intend to develop their language skills at this level.
Graduates will be able to communicate at an advanced level of the Pacific language and participate in general, workplace or academic situations requiring the specified language.
