About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide New Zealand with individuals who have obtained an intermediate level of operational and technical skills, experience, knowledge and performance for the security sector.
The qualification is suitable for people who intend to operate in higher level roles within the security sector.
Graduates will be capable of carrying out security work under minimal supervision in the security environment.

NCEA Level 2 or Equivalent academic achievement (includes the NZ Certificate in Security (Foundation) L3 or on a case by case basis at the discretion of the Executive Dean.
