About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the New Zealand real estate industry with people who hold broad operational and technical knowledge to lead and supervise staff professionally and ethically; and can manage a real estate business to ensure compliance within the current regulatory environment.

This qualification is designed for people seeking to undertake management responsibilities in the real estate industry.

Graduates will have met the educational requirements to be a manager and, once licensed, will be able to supervise licensees under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements

Applicants must have successfully completed the * National Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson) (Level 4) [Ref: 1543], or * the New Zealand Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson) (Level 4) Ref: [3111], or * have a current, or suspended (within the last three years), Salesperson Licence. Domestic Language Entry Requirements If English or Maori is the not the applicant's first language, candidates will need an IELTS (Academic) score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5.0, or equivalent. International English Language Entry Requirements International applicants will need an IELTS (Academic) score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5, or equivalent.
