The MPP has been designed to enable students to demonstrate a critical awareness of personal and professional self in relation to new and emerging challenges in their professional field; demonstrate rigorous intellectual analysis, criticism and problem-solving; apply advanced knowledge and skills to new o emerging challenges in their practice.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
There are three pathways to admission to candidature: An undergraduate degree in a socio-cultural field with a B average or better; or, B average in a postgraduate qualification (level 8). Where the applicant does not meet the entry criteria above, the applicant may be admitted to Te Tohu Titohu mo Te Aka Whakaaroaro/Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice and upon successful completion of two courses (B average) from the Schedule to the Regulations of Te Tohu Titohu mo Te Aka Whakaaroaro/Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice, gain admission to Te Tohu Paerua mo Te Aka Whakaaroaro/Master of Professional Practice. Progression to level 9 courses is dependent upon satisfactory academic progress.
