About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

Kaiako who graduate from Mataako Hokai Paerua will be qualified with a level 8 post graduate diploma to teach in Kura, Wharekura, Akomanga Rumaki, Akomanga Reo Rua and Schools, with requisite teaching and learning skills and knowledge, and graduate-level demonstration of the Graduate Teacher Standards, the Teaching Code of Ethics and the good character and fit to be a teacher Matatu Aotearoa policy.

Be at least 18 years or older Have graduated with , and can provide evidence of a Bachelors degree at Level 7, of at least 360 credits that is recognised by NZQA. Have completed and submitted the Criminal Convictions Disclaimer form as well as the the Police Vetting Information form.
