About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide New Zealand with people who have the practical and professional knowledge and skills in the law, and who are or intend to be employed in law firms or in other organisations to assist lawyers in meeting the law-related needs of clients and/or employers.
Graduates of this qualification will be qualified to work as legal executives under the supervision of a practising lawyer.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
- NCEA Level 3 or equivalent skills or knowledge e.g. currently working in a law firm. - Minimum age 18 years - Students for whom English is not their first language must meet the English Proficiency Outcomes i.e. an IELTS score of at least 6 with no band score lower than 5.5, or equivalent to meet the requirements of Rule 18.
