Entry requirements
Graduates must hold a current Pool Lifeguard Practicing Certificate (PLPC) industry award before this qualification can be awarded.
It is strongly recommended that all individuals hold a current practising first aid certificate at the point they are awarded the qualification.

This qualification will provide the aquatics sector with senior pool lifeguards who have advanced knowledge and experience in leading lifeguard shifts and teams in aquatic facility environments.
This qualification is designed for people working in the industry and will typically be achieved in a workplace environment whilst completing a New Zealand Apprenticeship in Aquatics.
