What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with graduates who have a range of specialist writing skills and strategies that enable them to produce original writing for selected audiences and platforms.
This qualification is suitable for people who wish to work as professional writers in the creative writing industry, and for those already working in the industry who wish to gain formal recognition for their skills.
Graduates will be able to work independently, and contribute to the cultural and social environment of a bi- and multi-cultural Aotearoa New Zealand through articulating and communicating its diverse stories.
