Entry requirements

Students must: * Be able to access a relevant workplace; and * Have a Bachelor degree or Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in a cognate subject; or * Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Professional Studies (with or without endorsement) or in cognate subject for entry to the Postgraduate Diploma; or * A combination of academic and practical or professional experience based upon a record of learning (academic transcript), parchment and a curriculum vitae detailing relevant educational achievements work experience and professional achievements as follows: EITHER * completion of a post-secondary school diploma in a related discipline at NZQA level 7 or equivalent from a recognised tertiary provider; and * demonstration of at least two years relevant practical experience with at least two written references (employer and character); or * demonstration of at least five years relevant practical or professional experience at a senior level, evidence of ability to study at postgraduate qualification level and two written references (employer and character); * IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band score lower than 6.0, or equivalent or Waiariki English Test 65 with no score lower than 60 for Mentoring and Leadership and Adult Teaching endorsements; or * IELTS Academic 7.0 with no band score lower than 7.0, or equivalent or Waiariki English Test 70 with no score lower than 70 for Vulnerable Peoples, and Infection Prevention and Control endorsements.
