What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide an introduction to reusable medical device reprocessing, to facilitate safe patient-centred healthcare in the community.
This qualification is suitable for individuals who wish to develop knowledge of reusable medical device reprocessing. This includes those working in the office based clinical environment and those who wish to progress their opportunities for employment in the wider reusable medical device reprocessing environments.
Graduates will be able to work under supervision.

Academic Entry Requirements: Open entry Domestic Language Entry Requirements: If English or Maori is the not the applicant's first language, applicants will need an IELTS General or Academic score of 5 with no band score lower than 5, or equivalent. International English Language Entry Requirements: International applicants will need an IELTS (Academic) score of 5 with no band score lower than 5, or equivalent.
