About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the aeronautical engineering industry with graduates who carry out the quality and safety function specific to an aeronautical engineering environment, in accordance with the requirements of the New Zealand Defence Force Airworthiness Policy, or Part 100 Rule and the Civil Aviation Act 1990.
This qualification is intended for learners who are experienced aeronautical engineers, and who want to broaden their knowledge and skills to include quality and safety in the aeronautical engineering sector of the aviation industry.
Graduates will be equipped with a comprehensive set of skills relating to the administration and management of aeronautical engineering quality and safety for an aeronautical engineering organisation.
