What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the aeronautical engineering industry with graduates who carry out the maintenance planning function and recognises the knowledge and skills in keeping with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulatory requirements, or the New Zealand Defence Force Airworthiness Policy, for this role.
This qualification is intended for learners who are experienced aeronautical engineers, and who want to broaden their skills to include maintenance planning.
Graduates will be equipped with a comprehensive set of skills relating to the administration and management of maintenance planning for an aviation engineering organisation.
