- Animal Welfare Amendment Act 2015
- Food Act 2014
- Health and Safety at Work Act 2015

- General requirements for export (GREXs) outlined by the Ministry for Primary Industries.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the meat and meat product manufacturing sector with competent employees, who are able to work in varied operational positions in meat or meat product manufacturing.
This qualification is targeted at employees of the meat and meat product manufacturing sector not yet engaged in education or training.
Graduates will be able to work under limited supervision to meet the meat and manufactured meat product market standards for a range of quality meat products.
