What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the fellmongery and leather processing sectors with individuals who are able to work as experienced operators processing hides and skins.
This qualification will ensure the establishment of standards of competent performance in leather manufacturing and fellmongery operations, providing domestic and international markets with confidence in a quality range of leather products.
Graduates will be capable of working independently and may have some responsibility for the performance of others.
