Entry requirements
Graduates are eligible to apply for the Advanced Scaffolding Certificate of Competence. Information is available from - https://www.sarnz.co.nz/certificates-of-competence/scaffolding-coc/. Prerequisite to meet regulatory body or legislative requirements: A current workplace first aid certificate.
The New Zealand Certificate in Scaffolding (Proprietary Suspended) (Level 3) [Ref: 3709].
The New Zealand Certificate in Scaffolding (Trade) Level 4 [Ref: 3710].
About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the scaffolding sector with people who have the skills, knowledge and experience to effectively lead, plan, design, erect, dismantle and inspect complex scaffolding at an advanced level.
Graduates will be able to work in an autonomous capacity and use the Worksafe Good Practice Guidelines relevant to the full range of techniques for undertaking advanced scaffolding activities to ensure all tasks are completed safely and to industry standards.
