What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is:
- to provide competent employees who are able to work in entry-level positions in the sales sector;
- to provide a credential for those individuals who are working in entry-level positions using sales skills, that will support their career opportunities across a range of organisations in the sales sector;
- to establish standards of professional practice for sales skills that can provide customers with confidence in the service they receive.

Prospective tauira must: Be aged 16-year-old and above (unless early leaving exemption (ELX) has been granted) New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident Meet learner eligibility conditions set by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) Undergo a pre-enrolment interview in order to determine suitability to the programme.
