About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the tourism industry with individuals who can contribute to the effective implementation of processes in the tourism industry which proactively support and enhance the visitor experience. Through their skills and knowledge they will strengthen the contribution of tourism to the New Zealand economy.

The qualification will benefit the community by enriching Aotearoa New Zealand's tourism visitor experiences and contributing to sustainable and regenerative tourism.

Graduates will be able to deliver, and assist in supporting the delivery of, high-quality visitor experiences that reflect the cultural heritage of Aotearoa New Zealand and do so across a range of organisations in the tourism and travel industries, taking full responsibility for the nature, quantity and quality of outcomes.
