What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the tourism industry with individuals who have the skills and the knowledge needed to support and enhance visitor experiences.
The qualification will benefit the community by enhancing the experiences of New Zealand's visitors, while recognising the importance of sustainable and regenerative tourism and bringing economic benefits to the country.
Graduates of the Visitor Experience, Tourism and Travel and Aviation strands will be able to engage with, and support visitors in various tourism settings, contributing to the New Zealand economy by fostering positive visitor interactions and supporting the growth of the tourism sector.
